We are a small pasture based farm
that is located in the heart of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
We are dedicated in providing only the best products available. We
operate alongside the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Countryside
Conservancy to restore historic farms that once filled this region.
We are one of only a handful of farms that get to operate and live
on National Park property. Our goal is to offer park visitors and
surrounding locals the opportunity to buy fresh grass-fed meats,
along with other products we have here at our farm.
Below you will find helpful information that should better your understanding of how we operate. Feel free to join us on a tour of the key steps in our nourishing operation! |

Environment Friendly
Making sure to preserve the earth for generations to come is as important to us as our chickens. Everything that is in our program is used to benefit the environment. The biggest problem that environmentalists and commercial producers face, is waste management. What is to be done with all of the manure? It is too hot to throw on fields for fertilizer, and there is too much to throw away. Bedding from chickens is often fed to cows and other livestock for a filler! We don’t have this problem, for when we move our pens, the manure sinks below the grass
when it rains, which is then absorbed by the soil. There is never too much
for the soil to handle. Nature's own fertilizer is
not only financially free, but chemical free as well.
