Our turkeys are raised similar to our chickens, only bigger.
Our fields are sectioned into paddocks of one acre sections. These turkeys from 8
weeks old get to run within that paddock until grass is grazed down. They are then
moved to another fresh paddock. Our turkey’s consume 70% of their diet in grasses,
weed seeds, clover, flowers, and other living things on pasture. This makes them
extremely rich in omega three fatty acids. Turkey’s contain twice the levels of C.L.A.
and omega three fatty acids than our chickens. A 20 lb. turkey will have consumed
approximately 30 lbs. of grass and other living things from our luscious pastures.
Turkey’s are available from July to November. Order early for Thanksgiving.
