ABOUT OUR FARM SHARE/CSA
WHAT IS A CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA, consists of a community of individuals who pledge support to a farm operation and in return receive a share of the most fresh and quality items at a discounted price. CSA members pay for a share prior to the start of the season, providing farmers with working capital throughout the winter months. It creates a responsible relationship between customers, the food we eat, the land on which it is grown, and with those who grow it.
OUR PROGRAM
We are now in the eighth season of our program! Our Summer Farm Share runs from July-November and consists of fresh, pasture raised chickens, eggs, and a Thanksgiving turkey [NEW! Christmas Ham option also available]. We operate a very unique program, which is set up as a "BUILD-YOUR-OWN" share. You are able to choose from 2, 4 or 6 chickens per month, 2 or 4 dozen eggs per month, and the size of your turkey. We also have options to add on a side of pork, a quarter or side of beef, or a whole lamb. Our program is a great choice for families of all sizes!
