WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING NEW MEMBERS FOR THE 2018 SEASON
SEASON
The 2018 season will run from July through November for a total of four chicken and egg pick ups and one Thanksgiving turkey pick up the week of the holiday in November.
PICK UP LOCATION + TIME
Pick up is located at our butcher shop, The Farmer's Rail, 1572 N. Cleveland Massillon Road, Akron, Ohio 44333.
Pick up will be on Wednesday evenings from 3:00-7:00p. You will have the opporuntity to choose your weeks in advance of the season.
PASTURE RAISED CHICKENS
Choose from 2, 4, or 6 chickens per month, average size of 3.5-4.5 lbs. We always like to remind our customers that fresh chicken season lasts a short time, from May-October. The CSA is a great way to stock up and save money while doing it! If you opt for 6 chickens/month that equals out to approximately one chicken consumed every other week throughout the year. Retail price for whole chickens is $4.00/lb.

CUT UP CHICKEN OPTIONS
Chickens are vacuum sealed and included whole in the price. In addition to the whole chickens we offer several cut up options. Based on member response over the last few years, getting some of your chickens cut up #1: Saves space if you don't have a big freezer, and #2: Creates several alternate meal options from one chicken.
WHOLE: FREE. Whole chicken vacuum sealed.
HALVED: +$2.00/bird. Chicken cut in half. Halves are vacuum sealed separately.
STANDARD CUT UP: +$2.00/bird. Chicken cut into two bone in breasts (split breasts), two leg quarters (thigh + drumstick attached), two whole wings, and one back. All vacuum sealed in one bag.
PREMIER BONE IN CUT UP: +$6.00/bird. Chicken cut into two bone in breasts (split breasts), two thighs, two drumsticks, four party wing peices, and one back. All packaged separately in retail style packaging.
PREMIER BONELESS CUT UP: +$6.00/bird. Chicken cut into two boneless skinless breasts, two tenders, two thighs, two drumsticks, four party wing peices, and one back. All packaged separately in retail style packaging. Boneless skinless thighs, $7.00/bird.
You will be able to choose your selections before each pick up and can mix and match your choices each time. Cut up options are paid for at each pick up, not ahead of time.
PASTURE RAISED EGGS
Choose from 2 or 4 dozen eggs per month. We recommend keeping our eggs for six weeks for the best quality. Retail price for eggs is $5.00/dozen.

PASTURE RAISED TURKEY
All turkeys are processed fresh just before the holiday. Pick up is scheduled closer to Thanksgiving and goes by weight range. Retail price for turkeys is $4.95/lb.

CHRISTMAS HAMS: Farm Share members will receive $1.00 off/lb. by signing up for a Christmas Ham early! Hams are hickory smoked with real wood, contain no synthetic nitrates, are gluten free, dairy free, and 100% delicious!
